Everyone is unique and we should have routines that reflect our different natures. Depending on how we feel upon waking we should act accordingly. For example: I could wake up anxious in which case I would have some hot water, apply sesame oil to my body and take a warm bath. I could feel low and sluggish upon waking which would cause me to have warm water with crushed black pepper and raw honey then practice some warrior yoga and breathing techniques to inspire movement. I could wake up hungry and acidic in which case I would reach for a yogurt lassi and do some type of meditation.
