The best way to drink alcohol would be to first have a small meal with plenty of good raw fats and protein. About 20 – 30 minutes later,Â hydrate with some cooling liquid and then proceed to have a drink. Best to have lighter colored liquors as they have less sugar. Adding lemon/lime will help to alkalize the drink. Best to avoid having ice in alcoholic beverages particularly because it produces a very nasty acid that is toxic to the body.
